Information

Comprehensive Solutions for Pressure Management and Optimal Patient Care Prevent Hospital Acquired Pressure Injuries (HAPI) from originating in the OR. Only Mizuho OSI® can deliver a comprehensive system of care to simplify your pressure management initiatives.

The company’s portfolio also includes a wide range of innovative pressure

management products designed to prevent Hospital Acquired Pressure Injuries

(HAPI), including Tempur-Pedic® Pads and Positioners, Orange Aid® Gel,

ProneView® Head Positioning System, and the NervPro® Arm Protective Device.

Avra™ Intelligent Pressure Sensing system

Avra

provides the clinician valuable patient to surface interface pressure data.

Cumulative pressure exposure data is captured throughout surgery and alerts the

clinician when tissues are deemed at risk for a pressure injury. That pressure

exposure data is then shared post-operatively to optimize the effectiveness of

PI interventions in the continuum of care.

Aquari™ Immersion Simulation

Aquari

is a support surface system that engages surgical patients in an immersive and

3-dimensional manner. Aquari analyzes the pressure waveform generated by the

patient when sinking into the surface, then precisely adjusts the air density

in the pad to simulate immersion in a fluid medium. This dynamically reduces

undesired soft tissue deformation and maintains perfusion to tissue at risk for

a PI.

Tempur-Pedic® Pressure Equalization Pads

Tempur-Pedic

material is standard on all Mizuho OSI specialty surgical tables and integrates

seamlessly onto most OR General Surgery Tables to equalize pressure loads

against the body.

From the surgical table to pressure redistributing surfaces and soft patient care

kits, we deliver seamless solutions for optimal surgical positioning and

patient support. One patient, one system of care.
